What information do we collect? How do we use it?

When you sign up for our new restaurant notification service or newsletter, we ask for your full name and e-mail address. We use this information to send you the information you requested.

When you submit a review using Eat & Tell, we also ask for your e-mail address. This will allow the restaurant to respond to your questions and/or comments.

When you enter a contest or other promotional feature, we may ask for your name, address, and e-mail address so we can administer the contest and notify winners.

When you place an order for a gift certificate from one of our merchant restaurants, we will provide the specific merchant restaurant with only the names and addresses of the sender and recipient. This information does NOT include credit card information, e-mail addresses or phone numbers. You will need to supply your billing information relative to that on the specific credit card account for verification purposes. This information includes, name, address, zip code, phone number, credit card number and expiration date.

We monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the design and layout of FoodSpot.com to better serve you.

What about "cookies?"

"Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. The FoodSpot.com web site does not use cookies for personalization at this time.
